Secondments based on the exchange of knowledge and cooperative collaboration

Milena Santiago and Paulo Carrillo from UdG, and Clara Inés Peña de Carrillo from UNAB are carrying out their secondment of research in RES, Belgium.

This work aims to analyze the behavior of Belgian users (businesses, consumers and the currency administrators) in relation to the use of the RES social complementary currency in order to measure the level of existence of the already identified barriers for the adoption of social complementary currencies and to propose mechanisms to reduce these barriers and thus contribute to the development of sustainable business models based on social complementary or virtual currencies applied to health and tourism sectors.
